[ What would her power even be? Milady, her true other self, is jacked with guns. ]

Hm, I presumed this would be more exciting. I'm a bit disappointed, if I am being frank.

[ Behind her, the flower that was facing the sun in all its beauty, wilts a little, leaning away from the sun as if to conceal itself. ]

No, no! It's too soon for disappointment!

[Owain responds anxiously. He doesn't want to ruin this magical moment. He's keeping his hopes up that she'll unleash some magical power any moment.]

I don't know for sure how it will be activate for you, but I think you're on the right track! Think magical thoughts and, and try out some catchphrases! Red's supposed to be one of the elements, so... try commanding one of those elements! You can do this, Haru!!

Then...

[ She strikes a pose, arm pointed forward, head held high and her ankles crossed in a delicate stance. ]

Come to me! Elemental power!

[ A bold declaration, her voice a touch higher than it normally is. She feels a burning in her chest, ready to spring forth— ]

[ ... crickets.

Actual crickets.

(Why are they even here?)

Haru's arm drops, as does her expression. The flower behind her loses a couple of petals, its colour looking faded. ]

... maybe it didn't work?

[ She feels... bamboozled, perhaps. Everyone made it sound so easy, yet nothing has happened yet. Is she being impatient?

It's unfortunate, she realizes with great disappointment, that it's her second time with a power that isn't fully realized. While she had come a long way with Milady, her initial awakening was weak, as was her resolve.

Perhaps it's that. ]

This is terribly troublesome... What if the potion didn't do anything after all?

[ Oh, the flower is twitching. Its colour coming back slightly and also... it seems like a couple of other flowers are sprouting at their feet. ]

[For a moment, Owain is brimming with excitement! That pose! That declaration! Surely the elements will now bend to her will in some grand display!

...But nothing seems to happen. Just the gentle chorus of some crickets. Owain looks crestfallen now.]

No, no it cannot be! You're destined for great things! There's no way that the potion could fail to awaken a magical might within you! How... How could this be...?

[At that moment, he looks down. And he gasps! He thought he felt something spring up around his feet...]

Wait! Haru!! Look down! These flowers, surely they did not exist just moments ago!

Flowers?

[ She looks down at her feet, noticing that there is a fresh set of small flowers, not fully bloomed, but suddenly at her feet when she's certain they were not there before. ]

What is going on?

[ The flowers do not bloom further; they sway gently in the light breeze, until Haru curiously bends down to look at one and it extends just a little further. ]

Ah! My goodness! It's moving!

[It's plain to see what's happening here! Owain looks on in awe.]

It is! And it is your will which makes it possible!

[He looks at her with a sparkle in his eye.]

Haru, don't you see? You must be drawing upon the sacred power of Mother Earth herself! You, you are now a floramancer! Fearless Floramancer, Haru Okumura! Fighter of fiends!

Oh, but how do I...?

[ She's still bent over, gently reaching an index finger out to touch the flower that sits in the grass. It doesn't move this time, but when she draws her hand back, another flower starts to sprout beside it.

It's weak and slow, but there's a sign of life sprouting before their very eyes. ]

Oh!

[ She startles again, getting to her feet now. ]

The power of Mother Earth? You mean the plants? I don't really understand how I'm doing that!

[Owain squats down to get an up close look at the flowers, marveling at what Haru has wrought.]

This must be the magic now under your command! After all, the earth itself is an element. And what are plants if not one with the earth?

[And he springs back up to his feet, hands balled with excitement.]

The sheer power of nature itself could now be at your disposal...!

[ What a wondrous thought, honestly.

And strangely ideal, given her affection for gardening and plants.

When Milady awakened, it was revealed Haru's affinity for Psy and Gun skills. She's accepted herself as somewhat of the tank of the team, with some support skills, but she never once thought she would harness a specific element. ]

My... I'm a bit dizzy thinking about this!

[ She needs to crouch again, hands on her knees, but she's staring at the flowers again.

She lifts her hand, hovering over it, but it doesn't quite move in the way she expect. It wriggles a little bit, but then...

... it slowly begins to rot. ]

Oh no! My apologies little flower?!

[ She draws her hand back, looking at Owain anxiously. She killed the flower?! ]

[While he does appreciate his own magical power and has a soft spot to it due to its similarity to his mother's own magic of choice, he also feels envious of the other magical abilities. He s ready to live vicariously through Haru's earth magic.]

I know a new magical destiny is a lot to take in, but Haru, you are powerful. In time, you will get used to your incredible new power!

[He crouches back down to look at the fallen flower.]

It's fine! The power of its life force still runs through you, Haru. It is all within you!

Incredible...!

[ She's used to blasting her way through things, or ripping enemies to shreds with her axe.

The sudden idea that the plants around her might be in her control is foreign to her, but not necessarily unwelcome.

No, she realizes. She can do much with this, especially with her plans to garden and manage a cafe. ]

But it gave you healing powers? Why were our powers different?

From what I've come to understand, the difference lies in the potions in themselves. Different colors produce different kinds of powers. Mine was one which glowed with an azure hue, much like the energy of the healing arts themselves!

Now, I don't know why we given those specific potions, but perhaps these are our destinies to bear. Our fated powers, that may decide the future of the world as we know it!

[He waves a hand in front of his face as he makes his dramatic declaration.]

That said, your power is very cool!

How peculiar!

[ It's not as if she chose the scarlet potion that was found on her person when she awoke in the garden.

Well, she's not going to complain either with the results. ]

Ah, thank you! [ She's a bit flustered now and so is the little flower, following her movements. ] I'm not so certain where to start with such an ability...

Where else to start but from the beginning? Like a plant itself that is just sprouting from the earth!

[He offere a supportive smile, while his eyes follow the flower's movements.]

Start small, and focus on minor applications of your power. From there, you can gradually work your way up! You'll work out how to control it little by little, until you're a force of nature to be reckoned with!

[ That analogy works for her; Haru's face is still a bit red, but she smiles brightly in return. ]

I'll do my best! Thank you!

[ She wishes she could show him her Persona. He could really witness her power that way. ]

Of course you will, Haru. I never doubted you will.

[He pumps a fist in support.]

Your new destiny, as a fated floramancer of justice, begins now!!
